Cryocells and Asuna run it back with 100 Thieves
100 Thieves have decided to re-sign both Peter "Asuna" Mazuryk and Matthew "Cryocells" Panganiban for the next season. The announcement comes shortly after the departure of Alexander "Zander" Dituri. Cryo and Asuna are the first two pillars of the new 100T roster being built for the 2026 season.
Cryocells and Asuna stay with 100T
A few months have gone by since Cryo and Asuna announced they were LFT. In his post, Asuna made it clear that he wanted to stay with 100T if the opportunity came up. By re-signing with the org for another year, Asuna celebrates his sixth year on the squad. Since the beginning, he’s been one of the team’s strongest Duelists. The new rebuild will determine whether he keeps that role.
This will be Cryo’s fourth year on the 100T roster. Throughout the year, he’s been hand in hand with Asuna in the aggressive Duelist compositions. In his LFT post on X, he mentioned that he’s most comfortable on Duelist, but can also flex to Sentinel or Smokes. Depending on who joins the squad next, we might see Cryo take on a new role in 2026.
Major rebuild
In September, 100T began a major rebuild following disappointing results during the 2025 season. They allowed five players and three coaches to explore new opportunities, including Cryo and Asuna.
Since then, coach Tony "Zikz" Gray and newly added Drew "Kess" Lee were the first to part ways with the organization. Kelden "Boostio" Pupello was next to leave, followed by Daniel "eeiu" Vucenovic and Zander. With four key players gone, many wondered whether Cryo and Asuna would move on as well. Now we know, Cryo and Asuna are not ready to leave just yet.
Three players missing
With Cryo and Asuna confirmed for another season, three roster spots still remain open on the 100T lineup. While there are rumors of players looking to join the org, nothing has been confirmed yet and that makes 100T a team to watch closely this offseason.
