The French esports organization, beGenius ESC has parted ways with Yoan "Kiiyo" Marchesin and announced that David "davidp" Prins has joined the team as a stand-in until the end of this season of VRL - France: Revolution - Stage 1 - Main Event.

Last evening beGenius ESC announced that Kiiyo leaves the roster. The Frenchman has played in just three games for the French organization and his appearance yesterday in a lost match against Team BDS was his last. The 19 year-old is already a free agent.

Former G2 Esports and GIANTX player Davidp has been announced as stand-in for beGenius ESC until the end of first season of Valorant Regional League France: Révolution. The Belgian recently competed as a stand-in for OG Esports in open qualification to VCT 2022 - EMEA - Stage 1 - Challengers - Main Event, where they lost against YONK (now known as Tundra Esports) in round of 32. After that, he decided to not continue his career in that team.

The team coached by Kevin "Larsson" Bernard has won one of their three games against WYLDE so far, and lost to Team BDS and Team Vitality. Although it will not be easy, beGenius ESC still has a chance to advance to the playoffs. With the new lineup, the French team will compete against Valar Morghulis on Monday, March 7.
