After the disappointing 2021 run in VCT, Dplus has made their first roster change heading into 2022 by parting ways with Kim "Secret" Ha-jin

The South Korean team failed to qualify for a single international tournament in VCT 2021. After reaching the semifinals at VCT 2021 - Stage 1 - Korea Masters, it looked like they sought chemistry and consistency to improve their game. Even with their unsuccessful results, the DWG KIA board decided to keep their core players together and hoped for the best, until today.

Secret has been an important piece of the roster since the beginning, especially with Skye in his hands. We saw him with many different agents throughout his career but he mostly played Skye, considering the past few months. Secret held a 0.83 rating, 0.78 KD, and 163.6 ACS in the last tournament he played with the team where they bowed out in the Lower Bracket Final in VCT 2021 - APAC Last Chance Qualifier to end in 3rd place.

Both parties are now in search of a new shift before the VCT 2022 season. Last week, DWG KIA has also made a change in their coaching staff as they have confirmed Kang "solo" Keun-chul as their new coach.

With Secret leaving, DWG KIA’s current roster is as follows:

South Korea Kim "Eugene" Su-yeong South Korea Kim "t3xture" Na-ra South Korea Lee "Jeong Hi" Jung-ha South Korea Kang "iNTRO" Seung-gyun
