Evil Geniuses pick up former Mamba Mode and Moon Raccoons members

The North American VALORANT scene is filled with massive organizations, including the likes of Sentinels, TSM, Cloud9, among many others. Today, they are getting another fierce name added to the mix, Evil Geniuses.

After teasing their announcement earlier today, the organization revealed their entrance to the VALORANT competitive scene with Aleksandar "ALEKSANDAR" Hinojosa, Nolan "Temperature" Pepper, Ronan "Osias" Javelona, Claudia "clawdia" Che, and Christine "Potter" Chi. ALEKSANDAR and Temperature come into Evil Geniuses after departing from Moon Raccoons earlier in January 2021, following their impressive performances that saw them win the First Strike North America UMG Open Qualifier #1. They managed to overcome the likes of Time In, Mamba Mode Gaming, and even FaZe Clan, but failed to make it out of the First Strike North America - UMG Closed Qualifier.

Osias was one of the standout players in Mamba Mode Gaming. He managed to lift the PULSE Series trophy, while ending up in 2nd place in both the 30Bomb: Invitational Series #2 and the Team Serenity Invitational. His continuously impressive performances on Raze, Omen, and Cypher kept people’s eye on him, and now he is part of Evil Geniuses’ team.

There is no doubt the highlight of the squad are clawdia and Potter. The latter is a well-known esports commentator and analyst in various games, but most prominently Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. She competed previously in the FTW Summer Showdown, and made it to the finals before falling to Cloud9 White. The same goes for clawdia as she was alongside Potter as part of GX3.

Evil Geniuses’ approach to recruiting a mixed-gender roster is a bold move, but there is no doubt each single one of them possesses tons of talent and showcased it multiple times. How do you think they will fare against the competition.
