FaZe Smeag All Star Weekend to commence on November 5th

To keep the Valorant community engaged during the long Off-Season window before the start the start of VCT 2023, Riot partnered with several organizations to host tournaments with varying formats. FaZe Clan will be one of the more notable TOs to take on this challenge first with their upcoming FaZe Smeag’s All Star Weekend!

Format and Prize Pool:

Courtesy of the freedom offered by Riot to tweak the structure of tournaments to the TO’s desire, FaZe Clan have decided to experiment with a team snake draft with team captains choosing their roster picks to compete in a double elimination bracket with BO1 games until the Grand Finals, which will be played out in a BO3 format.

Riot’s blog stated that the tournament will feature elite North American pros and top content creators including the likes of Trent, Derrek, Shanks, AverageJonas, eeiu, tarik, and yay. Teams will be competing for a $50,000 Grand Prize and also five PCs, which will be then given to members of their respective audiences.

Schedule and Broadcast:

The draft will commence on Saturday, 5th November at 3 PM PST, 10 PM GMT followed immediately by pre-liminary matches. The remaining portion of the tournament, including the Grand Finals, will be played out on Sunday, 6th November. All matches will be streamed on Babybay’s and FaZe’s Twitch channels.
