After mediocre results the last few weeks, failing to qualify for any Challengers or even Challengers Play-In, GIANTX have announced a roster swap. Adolfo "Fit1nho" Gallego will return to the organization, while Vincent "Happy" Cervoni will move to the bench. The move was originally reported by neLendirekt of 1pv.

Fit1nho was released along with the rest of Vodafone Giants’ old roster after First Strike, and moved on by joining 19esports. However, Fit1nho would leave the team after just a few weeks in controversial fashion. He'd only play in the first VALORANT Challengers Open Qualifier as a part of 19esports, where they placed in the 9-16th position, exactly the same as Giants would end up finishing.

Ultimately, Fit1nho returns to one of Spain’s biggest organizations as one of the region’s best players. He was Vodafone Giants’ primary duelist throughout 2020, and that looks to be the case again as he slots in Happy’s old spot.

Will Fit1nho make the difference that Vodafone Giants need to get back making good results? Let us know your thoughts! He’ll make his debut in the upcoming VCT 2021 - Stage 1 - Europe - Challengers 3 - Open Qualifier.

    Vodafone Giants are now:

Sweden Johan “Meddo” Lundborg Lithuania Ričardas “Boo” Lukaševičius Russian Federation Daniil “pipsoN” Meshcheryakov Finland Aaro “hoody” Peltokangas Spain Adolfo “Fit1nho” Gallego

    France Vincent “Happy” Cervoni (Benched)
