Ilari "iluri" Puranen has been benched from the FOKUS roster. The Finnish player had competed with the team throughout VCT 2022 - EMEA - Stage 2 - Challengers - Main Event.

FOKUS earned their spot in EMEA by coming from the bottom. First, they won the VRL - DACH: Evolution - Stage 1 - Main Event trophy to compete in the promotion tournament. After great performances during VCT 2022 - EMEA Promotion Tournament, the organization clinched a spot to compete at the highest level, and Ilari "iluri" Puranen was an important piece of the roster along the way. Despite all the success before joining the “big league”, FOKUS only won 1 game and failed to qualify for playoffs.

The only Finnish player on the roster, iluri, was a part of the miracle run from the start. Statistically, he surely was not the best player on the team but he had important roles with Sova, Breach, and Brimstone. He held a 0.82 rating in the past three months and picked Sova 6 times. Generally, he holds a 0.96 rating and a 1.03 rating since the beginning of his career.

With iluri moving to the bench, FOKUS’ current roster is:

Denmark Jakob "JUGi" Rask Hansen Germany Maximilian "bucher" Bucher Norway Vong "vong" Nguyen United Kingdom Lewis "YaBoiLewis" Hughes

Netherlands Sjonnie "Johnny Lobster" Kreeft (Coach)
