Former VALORANT Masters champion coach Erik "d00mbr0s" Sandgren has officially joined 100 Thieves as their newest Assistant Coach ahead of the VCT Americas 2026 season.

The VCT 2025 season is one that saw 100 Thieves stay in the middle throughout the entire year despite expectations placed onto the team following a strong 2024 season.

However, 100 Thieves have been actively making changes to their lineup going into the VCT 2026 season. Just recently, the team announced that they had picked up the TSM trio of Timothée "Timotino" Dupont, Jordan "vora" Pulwer, and Head Coach Laurynas "Nbs" Kisielius to mark a shift in the team’s structure. Now, 100T will be looking to make a strong push in 2026 following their acquisition of former and Natus Vincere coach d00mbros as the team's new Assistant Coach.

    Who is d00mbros?

D00mbros is a renowned coach in VALORANT who most notably helped Funplus Phoenix win VCT 2022 - Stage 2 - Masters Copenhagen in 2022. D00mbros was most recently seen briefly as Fnatic’s Assistant Coach at the start of the season before being moved to the inactive roster ahead of the VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 - EMEA Stage 1.

Now, he will be taking his coaching talents over to the VCT Americas, where he will work alongside Nbs to foster a new environment and team structure for 100 Thieves. It will be interesting to see if he can expand upon his brief experience as an Assistant Coach for Fnatic and find success on 100 Thieves.

As for 100 Thieves, they will be looking to make it back to the international stage after failing to see international play in the VCT circuit. It will be interesting to see how the new-look 100 Thieves lineup performs in the VCT 2026 season against a stacked group of teams in the Americas.
