FURIA have announced their new roster for the upcoming VCT Americas League challenge. According to the latest announcement, the organization kept Khalil "Khalil" Schmidt, Leonardo "mwzera" Serrati, and Vitor "kon4n" Hugo within the organization, added Felipe "liazzi" Galiazzi, Ilan "havoc" Eloy and the head coach Pedro "Koy" Pulig.

Last year, FURIA competed in the highest division, but things didn’t go as planned for the Brazilian team. Starting off with VCT 2023: LOCK//IN, the organization couldn’t get past the second round, and after placing sith in VCT 2023 Americas League, they couldn’t attend any other international tournaments. 2023 wasn’t really the best year for FURIA, in other words.

New year new FURIA?

Well, not really. FURIA decided to keep its core within the organization and added two new players and a new head coach. Looking at the new players, liazzi recently parted ways with Vivo Keyd Stars, where he competed in both VALORANT Challengers 2023 Brazil Split 1 and 2. After the season ended and Keyd placed fourth in the second split, liazzi became an inactive player and today signed a new contract with FURIA to compete against Americas’ best players. He holds a 1.08 rating and a 1.10 K/D. His most picked agent in the past year was Raze, with 40 picks. However, he can also play Initiators. He worked with FURIA’s new head coach Koy under the Keyd Stars roof.

The second new player is havoc, who played for The Union and competed in the Brazilian challenge, just like liazzi; however, there is a big difference between them in terms of how the season went for both players. Havoc won both splits with The Union. The Brazilian player is sitting at a 1.16 rating and a 1.16 K/D. In the previous year, he had 26 Raze and 26 Jett games.
