Heading into the Last Chance Qualifier, Gen.G are looking to make some changes to their roster with moving Michael "MkaeL" De Luca to an inactive role while still looking for a new replacement.

Mkael, one of the original players of the Gen.G roster when they were signed back in May 2020 has played various roles over his almost one and a half year tenure with the team. Even though he never picked up the duelist role, he has played both the initiatior and sentinel roles switching between mainly Sova, Viper, Killjoy and Cypher. While the team has never won any VCT Challengers or Masters in 2021, they managed to finish 3rd in VCT Stage 1 Masters after losing the Lower Bracket Final against FaZe Clan.

Back in 2020, Mkael alongside his team mates won the Pittsburgh Knights Before Christmas while also obtaining some good places in other events like the JBL Quantum Cup, Knights Invitational Gauntlet Series and Pulse Invitational. During his stay with Gen.G, Mkael has obtained a 0.98 Rating, 196 ACS and a 1.00 K/D

With this change, Gen.G will be looking to field a new fifth player ahead of the VCT 2021 - North America Last Chance Qualifier which they have already qualified for through VCT Circuit Points they obtained from Stage 1, 2 and 3 throughout this year.

Current roster for Gen.G is now: Canada Anthony "gMd" Guimond United States Shawn "Shawn" O'Riley United States Kenneth "koosta" Suen United States Nicholas "NaturE" Garrison
