Ghost Gaming has signed Ryan "ryann" Welsh, they announced today.

Ghost's roster has been a bit all over the place since VCT Stage 2 began. Their fifth spot was vacant following Maxim "wippie" Shepelev's departure, and Marki "NiSMO" Tayar was taking parental leave. They played events with Jonathan "Silenx" Huntington and coach Adam "kaplan" Kaplan, but with this signing are looking to return back to normal.

ryann previously played with Dignitas before that lineup got dropped. While he hasn't set the world on fire anywhere, he's shown promise in VALORANT, so Ghost will be hoping they can leverage that to improve on some of their performances. He has all-time stats of 191 ACS, 1.00 Rating, 1.09 KD, and 124 ADR. He primarily plays the controller role, making him a 1-for-1 swap with wippie in that regard.

Update: On Saturday, Ghost announced another change to their roster. Sentinel player Nate "PaYen" Lopez has been moved to the bench, while Yannick "KOLER" Blanchette will be trialing with the team. Often praised as one of North America's more skilled duelists, KOLER brings an upside that will certainly help the team.

    Ghost Gaming now fields:

United States Dajon "chase" Lopez Canada Marki "NiSMO" Tayar United States Will "dazzLe" Loafman United States Ryan "ryann" Welsh Canada Yannick "KOLER" Blanchette (Trial)

United States Nate "PaYen" Lopez (Benched)

United States Adam "kaplan" Kaplan (Coach)
