Ghost Gaming has decided to part ways with the Valorant roster due to the NA-based organization not being selected as a partnered organization for the Valorant International League. Their decision to step back from the Valorant competitive scene will allow Alex "aproto" Protopapas, Mohamed Amine "Johnqt" Ouarid, Brock "brawk" Somerhalder, Gianfranco "koalanoob" Potestio, and Marki "NiSMO" Tayar to evaluate other opportunities to compete in the highest Valorant stage.

The announcement was made via the organization's official Twitter account, stating Ghost Gaming will keep supporting the Valorant community with their content creators, weekly community scrims, and event hosting. Having failed to join Valorant International League as an official partner, the organization released the Valorant roster and staff, including coach Adam "kaplan" Kaplan. However, The main reason why their application process failed has not been revealed.

Ghost Gaming failed to qualify for VCT 2022 - Champions Istanbul due to their disjointed fashion in the VCT 2022 - North America - Stage 2 - Main Event.
