After an unsuccessful run at VCT 2023 Emea League, Team Heretics have decided to part ways with Aleksander "zeek" Zygmunt. The Polish player was not on the active roster in the past couple of weeks, and now he is a free agent, allowed to join whichever team he wants.

Team Heretics struggled to find wins in the EMEA League throughout the season. The organization only had 2 wins and 7 losses, and they obviously missed the playoffs. Zeek was benched in the season, and his shoes were filled by the assistant coach Brandon "weber" Weber. As the season came to an end, both parties agreed to part ways.

Zeek’s career shifted after he joined G2 Esports in 2021. He competed in the highest European division but failed to bring a trophy home. After leaving G2, he joined Acend, the team that he would later become the “zeek” that we know. With his team, zeek took down his old teammates at G2 Esports in VCT 2021: Europe Stage 3 Challengers 1, and later that year, Acend’s performance significantly increased, as well as zeek’s individual performance. The Polish player won the first Champion trophy that year after taking down Gambit Gaming with a score of 3-2 in the VALORANT Champions 2021 Grand Final. The next year didn’t start in favor of Acend, and zeek left the team to join Team Heretics. The Polish player will now try to find himself a new home.

Zeek stats

Zeek is currently sitting at a 1.10 rating and a 1.20 K/D. The Polish player picked Raze 12 times in the past year, and his second most-picked agent is Skye, with 6 appearances.

After zeek’s departure, here is the official Team Heretics roster:

Denmark Auni "AvovA" Chahade France Cista "keloqz" Wassim Spain Oscar Cañellas "m1xwell" Colocho Lithuania Ričardas "Boo" Lukaševičius

United Kingdom Neil "neilzinho" Finlay (Head Coach) United Kingdom Brandon "weber" Weber (Coach)
