As VALORANT Game Changers continues to experience tremendous success, it's no wonder that increasingly more esports organizations are looking to invest in the development of new talent. One of the more notable names to do so is Karmine Corp as the French organization has announced their roster for Game Changers 2023 season on February 9, showcasing their commitment to nurturing the next generation of competitive gamers in the GC scene.

Former TENSTAR Nova teammates reunite at Karmine Corp

Starting from scratch, they focused their efforts on finding France-based players and were successful in signing both Asma “LiriLia” Boughida and Nouhara “Ninou” Marcos from Rix.GG Lighting. Although the team did not make the headlines too often, they had noteworthy performances throughout the year with 3rd place at GC Series 2 and then a 5th-6th in Series 3. LiriLia, who has been selected to lead the team, finished the year with a 1.06 rating on 200 ACS and was usually spotted playing Controllers, either Astra or Omen. On the other hand, Ninou finished with a 1.12 rating on 213 ACS and 1.23 KD switching between various Initiators.

Mathilde “Nelo” Beltoise made the switch from TENSTAR Nova, where she was previously teammates with both Ninou and LirLia in early 2021. However, the other two players were let go and Nelo was brought back onto the active roster where she competed throughout VCT 2022. Unlike Rix.GG, the team was unable to place higher than the 4th place they managed at GC Series 3. She fashions a more offensive approach with Chamber and her statistics reflect this as her average at the end of 2022 stood at 1.12 rating on 226 ACS. Since there isn’t a substantial competitive record for Mélina “MelHssn” Houssein, it is difficult to evaluate how her skills will translate to upcoming GC tournaments.

For the final piece of the puzzle, Lea “matrix” Ransquin will be competing as the only Belgian player on the team with previous stints on BEEX, an orgless free agent team, and FUT JEFF, a Turkish based organization. For matrix, however, neither avenues were fruitful in terms of a significant outcome. Nonetheless, her contributions as a Yoru and Brimstone did benefit the roster with an average 0.98 rating on 210 ACS over 500 rounds played in 2022.

With this announcement, the Karmine Corp Female roster is as follows:

  • France Asma "LiriLia" Boughida
  • France Nouhara "Ninou" Marcos
  • Belgium Lea "matrix" Ransquin
  • France Mathilde "Nelo" Beltoise
  • France Mélina "MelHssn" Houssein
  • France Mathieu "LaAw" Plantin (Head Coach)
