Karmine Corp has officially parted ways with both Martin "marteen" Pátek and in-game leader Matias "Saadhak" Delipetro ahead of the VCT 2026 season as the team looks towards a rebuild.

The VCT 2025 season was meant as an opportunity to for Karmine Corp to make their push towards playing in front of a homecrowd at VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 - Valorant Champions. The team had picked up World Champion in-game leader Saadhak and Masters Champion Dmitry "SUYGETSU" Ilyushin to bolster their chances of competing at the top of EMEA. Instead, the team found themselves as a middle-of-the-pack team throughout the year.

As a result, the team has opted towards switching things up going into VCT 2026 and have parted ways with both marteen and Saadhak.

saadhak parting ways with Karmine Corp

Saadhak came into Karmine Corp looking to bounce back from a tough showing in the VCT 2024 season. Despite leading LOUD to a fourth-place finish at VCT 2024 - Masters Madrid, the well-established IGL was unable to help his team find further success in 2024. LOUD struggled throughout VCT 2024 - Americas Stage 1 and ultimately missed out on qualifying for the playoffs. Those struggles unfortunately, continued to follow him in the VCT 2025 season as Karmine Corp spent a lot of the year struggling to find their footing in the VCT EMEA. The finished in 7th-8th place in both VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 - EMEA Stage 1 and VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 - EMEA Stage 2 , effectively putting an end to their quest to play in front of a home crowd at Champions Paris.

VALORANT offseason rumors have Saadhak slated to join KRÜ Esports, which would mark his return back to the VCT Americas region following his one-year stint in EMEA. He will be looking towards bouncing back in the 2026 season as he looks to make a return to the VCT international stage. KRÜ will be hoping Saadhak’s leadership will also be able to help them mount a return to the international stage after missing out on their first VALORANT Champions in 2025.

Marteen’s two-year stint with Karmine Corp comes to an end

As for marteen, this marks the end of a two-year stint with Karmine Corp as he sets his sights on his future in VCT 2026. Marteen stood out as one of Karmine Corp’s standout players throughout his two years on the team. In this time, marteen was able to help Karmine Corp become VCT 2024 - EMEA Kick-off champions and qualify the organization to VALORANT Masters Madrid, where they finished in 5th-6th place.

However, after failing to qualify for VALORANT Champions 2024 and 2025, the young superstar will be looking to take his talents elsewhere in his quest to compete at the top of EMEA once again. He has been linked to joining Gentle Mates ahead of the VCT EMEA 2026 season.

It will be interesting to see how both marteen and Saadhak perform going into the VCT 2026 season.
