KRÜ Esports Duelist Angelo "Keznit" Mori has announced on X that he will be looking for a VALORANT team for the VCT 2026 season.

It was previously speculated that keznit would be taking a break from competitive VALORANT. However, the Chilean Duelist recently revealed that he still intends to compete in the VCT in the coming year.

While keznit highlighted that he is stil “in talks with KRÜ,” he is free to explore his options for the 2026 season primarily for the Duelist and Sentinel roles.

Keznit first joined KRÜ back in mid-2021, arriving to the team right before VCT 2021 - Stage 3 - Masters Berlin - Playoffs. Keznit then had a brief stint at the start of 2023 as Leviatán’s sub before rejoining KRÜ to help the team qualify for VCT 2023 - Champions through a miracle gauntlet run.

How long was keznit with KRU?

Keznit had been a mainstay at KRÜ, becoming synonymous with the organization's successes, having never missed a VALORANT Champions up until recently in 2025. His crowning achievement with KRÜ came during VCT 2021 - VALORANT Champions 2021, where he reached the semifinals of the tournament. However, since that point KRÜ has struggled to find similar international success despite make it to every Champions from 2021 to 2024.

After missing VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 - Valorant Champions, keznit has been allowed to explore his options and will be looking to see if he can field offers elsewhere as KRÜ makes their decision going forward into the VCT 2026. If keznit is to leave KRÜ for the 2026 season, it will mark the end of a five year long relationship with the organization as they seek to return to the international stage once more.

For now, fans should be sure to check out Champions Paris, where the tournament is currently in the midst of it’s double-elimination playoff bracket. The tournament will run until October 5, when one team will be crowned the next World Champion of VALORANT.
