One of the most well-known and successful VALORANT teams in South America, KRÜ Esports, has revealed that they have parted ways with coach Leandro "Leazo" Liset. The choice was decided by the company's management. Leazo had been a member of the team since May 16, 2022, and had been a major contributor to their achievements in that time.

The only squad in the VALORANT competitive scene to have competed in each and every international competition to date is KRÜ Esports with Leazo leading the way as the team's coach.

Numerous accomplishments and landmarks were reached throughout Leazo's time with KRÜ Esports. The team he oversaw won numerous domestic competitions and made mostly modest runs at international competitions like the VCT Masters and Champions. His tactical expertise and strategic views were highly esteemed by the VALORANT community. Leazo was demoted to the bench on March 11 and his departure from the team was announced today, March 21.

    Leazo's achioevements with KRÜ

Some of the achievements by Leazo with KRÜ includes:

    • VCT 2022: LAS Stage 2 Challengers // 1st Place
    • VCT 2022: LATAM Stage 2 Challengers Playoffs // 2nd Place
    • VCT 2022: Stage 2 Masters - Copenhagen // 9th-10th
    • VCT 2022: South America Last Chance Qualifier // 1st Place
    • VALORANT Champions 2022 // 9th-12th
    • Red Bull Home Ground #3 // 3rd-4th
    • VCT 2023: LOCK//IN São Paulo // 17th-32nd

KRÜ Esports didn't spend any time in replacing their late coach Leazo. The group has declared that former E-Xolos LAZER Head Coach from Guatemala, Jorge "Atom" Siero, will assume the team's coaching responsibilities. Atom brings a plethora of expertise and knowledge with him. KRÜ Esports hopes to build on its tradition of excellence in the professional VALORANT scene with Atom at the helm. The group has expressed delight about working with Atom as their new coach and anticipation for what lies ahead.
