LOUD brings Tuyz in as new fifth member of VALORANT roster

With only two weeks left in VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 - Americas Stage 1, playoff chances are starting to dwindle for some teams in VCT Americas. Some teams have struggled to put together wins throughout the group stage, and have yet to put up a strong performance in during the tournament. For example, LOUD has been stumbling through the stage, suffering three straight losses against KRÜ Esports, 2GAME Esports, and 100 Thieves. In an attempt to find some semblance of success on stage, the team has made another roster change ahead of week four by replacing Vinicius "v1nNy" Gonçalves with Arthur "tuyz" Vieira.

    Searching for the right answer

Tuyz has been with LOUD since 2022, but has recently been on the organization's inactive list amidst the several roster changes that the management has done over the last few months. But now, his return has been sparked by some unfortunate circumstances. According to sources, V1nny was supposedly removed from the starting roster because he was being heavily affected by the team's current situation and the criticisms they were receiving from the fans. The management was worried that he would affect the rest of the roster, and decided to bring in Tuyz instead of leaving him in the lineup.

Moving ahead, LOUD will be heading into their next matchup vs. Sentinels with a new-look team and reportedly having Bryan "pANcada" Luna as the in-game leader. It will be a test of epic proportions, since Sentinels have constantly been a fan favorite, as expected, and have looked like one of the best teams in the region. They are also coming off of a dominant 2-0 victory vs. Evil Geniuses, where Sentinels held EG to 10 combined round wins throughout the two maps.

    LOUD's new roster

LOUD has brought in an experienced players who has played at multiple international events, already has plenty of playing time with Cauan "cauanzin" Pereira, and has even won Americas in 2023. He could help bring the roster back together both mentally and performance-wise, so they can reset themselves for the remainder of the season.

    • Douglas "dgzin" Silva
    • Bryan "pANcada" Luna
    • Cauan "cauanzin" Pereira
    • Lucca "lukxo" Travaioli
    • Arthur "tuyz" Vieira

There are limited chances for them to sneak into the playoffs, however, so they'll need to win every game they have ahead of them if they want even a chance at the post-season.
