Sentinels Head Coach, Adam "kaplan" Kaplan, announced Jimmy "Marved" Nguyen would substitute for Tyson "TenZ" Ngo and will be part of the starting roster for the rest of the VCT Americas League. The announcement was made on Sentinels' official Twitter.

This change isn’t shocking to fans as Marved replaced TenZ for the VCT Americas super week where he had an excellent performance. Kaplan took the role of Head Coach after Don SyykoNT Muir was let go of his position in a tweet by Rob Moore, CEO of Sentinels. The move came after their loss against Leviatán, which raised many questions among the fans about the sudden changes in the coaching staff.

Since Kaplan stepped in as Head Coach, TenZ tested positive for COVID and had a finger injury making Marved step in. He didn’t disappoint the fans; he performed exceptionally well against LOUD and was the series MVP against MIBR. Given the personal situation with TenZ he is currently facing, fans were anticipating these changes.

According to Kaplan, "Marved is here, and he is looking sharp as ever, so we are confident we can pick up right where we have left off with TenZ, Make no mistake, TenZ is not going anywhere. He is still a part of this team and will be with us for every step of the process. It is my top priority to win these next few games and make sure we bring the whole team to Tokyo and represent Americas in Masters."

Sentinels are set to face Cloud9 in their upcoming League match, one of the top teams currently in VCT Americas.
