MIBR allow artzin, xenom, and cortezia to explore other options
A mere few days after the team’s commendable run at VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 - Valorant Champions came to an end, it seems MIBR’s current lineup is nearing its end. According to a report by THESPIKE Brazil, the organization has allowed all three of Arthur "artzin" Araujo, Eduardo "xenom" Soeiro, and Gabriel "cortezia" Cortez to explore other options ahead of the 2026 season.
MIBR Rebuild?
Despite their great run of form late into the season, MIBR may don an entirely new look in the coming year. While artzin, xenom, and cortezia begin talks with other teams, MIBR is still awaiting Erick "aspas" Santos's decision on his future as his contract with the team also comes to an end.
For the time being, MIBR’s plan is to head into the off-season ready to scour the market for the best possible players to build around aspas and in-game leader Andrew "Verno" Maust. The plan, however, is entirely contingent on aspas ultimately deciding to re-sign with the team.
It’s worth noting that, despite being given the green light to explore other options, xenom and cortezia are still under contract with MIBR until the end of 2026.
MIBR Want More
With 3rd place finishes at VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 - Americas Kickoff and VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 - Americas Stage 1, as well as a 5th-6th place finish at Champions Paris, 2025 has been a good year for MIBR.
Verno’s rise into one of the best IGLs in the Americas has been nothing short of admirable. Aspas, meanwhile, continues to prove he’s still aspas as he remains the highest rated player at Champions Paris after his exit from the tournament.
Now, MIBR appear confident that the pair can provide the perfect foundation as the team starts aiming for silverware in 2026.
