One could argue that one of the most important parts of a pro player’s setup is the mouse. In fact, many would argue it is the most critical piece of equipment of an esports athlete in an FPS game. With the right mouse, a pro is able to hit insane flicks more comfortably, micro-adjust to perfection, and frag out like no one else.

For all the mouse nerds out there, DiamondLobby Reviews compiled a list of every mouse used at VALORANT Champions Tour 2026 - Masters Santiago 2026 to see which gear the VALORANT elite actually trust. Here's our breakdown based on the information presented.

    Brands

A total of ten brands were used at Masters Santiago. Unsurprisingly, two of the most popular brands among pros were Logitech and Razer. Out of the 61 players at the event, the brands were each used by 38.3% of the players. Other brands like Zowie and Pulsar were present, but in smaller numbers. Finalmouse, ATK, and G-Wolves had just one user each.

According to DiamondLobby, eleven players were using a mouse they could theoretically be contractually obligated to use due to sponsorships. However, this can only be confirmed by the players themselves, it’s also possible that everyone is simply choosing their preferred gear.

The only team using mice from the same manufacturer across the board was G2 Esports, with every player on a Logitech mouse. Whether that’s due to sponsorship or pure preference remains unclear.

With the new Logitech Superstrike hitting the market, you might expect pros to jump on its advertised -30 ms click latency. That wasn’t the case at Santiago.

The Superlight (including Superlight 1, 2, and C) was the most popular model at 21.7%, while the Superstrike came in at 15%. Matching that 15% was the Razer Viper V4 Pro. The Superlight has been around for years and continues to dominate as a go-to pick among pros. The Superstrike, on the other hand, is only about a month old, so it still has time to climb the ranks, despite its new technology.

Other notable mentions include the Razer Viper V3 Pro and DeathAdder V4 Pro, both sitting at around a 10% pick rate. Most of these Logitech and Razer mice share very similar shapes and weights. The main outlier is the DeathAdder V4 Pro, which features a bigger size, a more noticeable middle hump, and an asymmetrical shape.

    Best mouse at Santiago

The age-old question is: does the mouse actually matter? Let’s take a look at player performances at Santiago.

The three highest-rated players were Martin "marteen" Pátek, Daniel "eeiu" Vucenovic, and Ham "iZu" Woo-joo, and they all used the same mouse. On one of the biggest stages of their careers, they trusted the Logitech Superlight and delivered standout performances.

marteen posted an incredible 1.38 rating, finishing well ahead of the competition. While that clearly comes down to skill and preparation, it raises the question: how much does the mouse contribute? It’s a hard question to answer, but when multiple top-tier players use the same mouse and dominate, it’s safe to say it’s a top-tier option.

On the other end of the spectrum, the three lowest-rated players were Wang "nobody" Senxu, Huang "WsLeo" Ping-wei, and James "NoMan" Man Ga-kit. Both nobody and WsLeo used the DeathAdder V4 Pro, while NoMan was the only player using a Finalmouse ULX.

Does that mean you should avoid Razer and stick to Logitech? Or is it just down to individual performance? However you interpret the data is up to you.

    The Grand Final mice

So what were the top two teams using in Santiago? A mix of different brands and models. Maybe you’ll find some inspiration for your next upgrade, and maybe, just maybe, it’ll help you level up your own performance.
