New feature launch: Live Feed

At THESPIKE, it has always been our goal to provide the VALORANT community with unique features to enhance their fan experience. In the past, we have launched several features, including:

• Winner voting in Matches
• Player Rating
• Pickems and
• 2D Replay for each Map played

Today we are happy to announce that we are launching our newest feature, Live Feed. If you are a frequent user on our website, you would know that we do live coverage on selected matches allowing us to provide live score updates as each match goes on. These live scores are shown on our website without the need to refresh your browser after every round to keep yourself up to date.

We are taking this feature to a whole new level thanks to the new Live Feed feature that we have deployed. This new feature will expand the data we show during live coverage to include the following:

• New Map started
• Round Buy Time started
• Round started
• Player killed Player including weapon used and locations of each player
• Player planted the spike
• Team won Round
• Map finished

This feature will again be available on selected key matches. We are aiming to release this feature on as many games as possible, starting out with VALORANT Champions Tour 2022.

We are extremely excited to launch the first iteration of this new product. There are lots of opportunities to expand our Live Feed in the future, and we aspire to not only use this tool to enhance the fan experience, but to also assist players and teams with their in-depth analysis. Hopefully, we will have an update on that soon™!
