New VALORANT EMEA Clash tournament to take place before Masters Santiago
The VCT EMEA just announced a brand new tournament coming to the region: VALORANT EMEA Clash. The event will offer teams who missed out on Masters Santiago a chance to continue having something to play for, ensuring nobody falls behind ahead of Stage 1.
Here's everything you need to know about the new VALORANT EMEA Clash tournament.
VALORANT EMEA Clash: Battle of the tiers
The tournament will start on February 16 and run for a total of ten days. This means that VALORANT EMEA Clash will wrap up exactly two days before the start of Masters Santiago.
So, who will take part in this event? VCT EMEA teams who did not qualify for Masters Santiago through VALORANT Champions Tour 2026 - EMEA Kickoff will have the chance to play against the best teams from the region's Challenger League. That way, VALORANT EMEA Clash ensures that teams who do not get to compete at the first global VCT event of the year still have something to fight for, making sure their growth does not stagnate while other squads get international experience.
For EMEA's Tier-2 scene, VALORANT EMEA Clash will offer a fantastic chance for Challenger teams to test their skills against top-caliber opposition. This should provide Tier-2 squads with invaluable experience so they know exactly what it is they'll be going up against if they manage to qualify for the VCT EMEA Stage 2 Playoffs in search of making it to Champions Shanghai through the new VCT format.
Non-stop VALORANT action
The new VALORANT EMEA Clash tournament should prove to be the perfect way to fill the void between Kickoff and Masters Santiago, keeping hype levels high before the first international event of the year. Whether it be VCT teams, Challenger squads, or avid fans of VALORANT esports, the VALORANT EMEA Clash is making sure to deliver on all fronts.
