Ninjas in Pyjamas Lightning roster revealed

Today, Ninjas in Pyjamas Lightning have announced their new Game Changers roster under the leadership of head coach Jackson "Jaxsen" Popelka. The new NIP GC roster is currently playing against Falcons VEGA in the VALORANT Game Changers 2023 - EMEA Series 1. Today is the first day of GC 2023 EMEA Series Group B matches, and the organization will come up against other teams in the upcoming days.

Ninjas in Pyjamas, one of the most famous esports organizations in the world, have announced their entrance to the Game Changers scene. The organization chose to start things off in EMEA and booked a place in Group B of the tournament.

"Female players need a few years with the same resources and investment as the males have gotten in the past years. Our VCT Game Changers team is the second non-male roster at NIP, and we plan to continue to invest in and elevate female players. We are committed to promoting diversity and inclusivity within the esports community – from the equal representation of the employees at our company to the players that represent the Ninjas in Pyjamas brand in competition,” said Hicham Chahine, CEO of NIP.

Three players were teammates at Rix.GG

NIP’s roster consists of Raina, OYKU, Padge, rezq, and Thykuza. Raina, OYKU, and PAge have played for RixGG in the past and were teammates.

The old Rix trio and two new players will keep the Lightning team name while playing for Ninjas in Pyjamas. Lightning was Europe's first professional female and marginalized gender VALORANT squad. The old Lightning lineup remained in the Top 5 European Game Changers teams, finished second in the first Game Changers series, and set a number of world firsts while playing for Rix.GG.

Padge stands out the most with a 1.31 rating and a 1.41 K/D. The British player is known for playing duelists, mainly Jett. Padge picked Jett 153 times, and the second-most picked agent is Sage, with only 14 times.
