Opportunists officially join Team BDS

French roster Opportunists, previously representing DfuseTeam, have officially joined their new organization, Team BDS. The move was first reported by neLendirekt.

No matter the various names they’ve played under, the 5-stack of Logan "logaN" Corti, Jonathan "TakaS" Paupard, Dylan "hoppY" Aube, Rodolphe "rodeN" Bianco, and Alex "AKUMAAAAA" Lo Bello have found increasingly more success as they’ve continued to play. Their many lower-tier tournament wins prepared them well for the VCT, where they surprised many by making VCT 2021 - Stage 1 - Europe Masters. They’d eventually finish 5th-6th, third in their group. logaN in particular has turned heads as one of Europe’s deadliest Sentinel players, while the ever-revolving duelist door of TakaS, IGL rodeN, and sometimes hoppY continues to find the team success. Most recently, they placed top 4 in VCT 2021 - Stage 2 - Europe - Challengers 1. This wasn’t enough to secure them a spot in VCT 2021 - Stage 2 - Europe - Challengers Playoffs, but they quickly bounced back in the next open qualifiers, taking the 1-4 seed for Challengers 2.

BDS, on the other side, have been an upcoming French organization for a while. With one of the best Rainbow Six: Siege rosters in the world, as well as League of Legends and Rocket League divisions, it’s tough to find a better fit for the Opportunists players.

Now under a solid, proven organization, things will be looking even better for the already highly competitive French side. They should be considered favourites to get past Challengers 2 and find a spot in the EMEA Challengers Finals, the last stop in the Masters Reykjavik qualification process.
