Overtime Gaming reveal their VALORANT roster
The North American VALORANT esports scene is undoubtedly stronger than its European counterpart in its current state, and with more teams joining in on the fun, it just keeps getting better. Overtime Gaming have recruited a VALORANT roster, and they already competed under the organization’s name in the Pulse Series VALORANT Invitational Qualifiers.
Overtime Gaming is the esports sector of the popular Overtime media entertainment platform. It is backed by a number of venture capital firms, alongside NBA stars like Kevin Durant, Carmelo Anthony and even the late NBA Commissioner David Stern. The team boasts an incredibly successful Fortnite team, with multiple members recently qualifying to the FNCS Grand Finals. Considering VALORANT’s rise in the world of esports, Overtime Gaming decided it is time to pick up a team.
The roster consists of Edison "RESHURA" Ren, Robert "bearkun" Di Carlo, Eric "HIA" Boggs, Jonathan "Silenx" Huntington, and Timothy "RunnerPS" Donnelly. Most of them played together before in HIA MONEY CREw, except for Timothy "RunnerPS" Donnelly. They managed to finish 13th-16th in the 30Bomb: Summer Cup - 2020, and even placed 3rd-4th in the Nerd Street Gamers x FaZe Clan Qualifier #2, which made them fall just short from competing in the main tournament. During the latest Pulse Series VALORANT Invitational Qualifiers, Overtime Gaming reached the Quarter-Finals before failing short to Big Pizza.
Individually, we have only seen RESHURA and bearkun compete outside of HIA MONEY CREw. The latter participated in the Trovo Challenge - North America with ascend, placing 5th-8th after a 2-0 defeat to Way 2 French. As for RESHURA, he was part of Shironeko- during the CLG BLITZ CUP #2, in which he finished 9th-16th.
