ozzy and elllement benched from EXCEL

EXCEL have announced today that Dragan "elllement" Milanović and Oscar "ozzy" Scott are moving to the bench. For now, both players are already looking for new opportunities.

EXCEL Esports decided to make changes to their team, after an unsuccessful performance in the VCT 2022 - EMEA Promotion Tournament. There were many indications that this team would be a serious candidate to advance to VCT 2022 - EMEA - Stage 2 - Challengers - Main Event, after they won VRL - Northern Europe: Polaris - Stage 1 - Main Event a few weeks ago, where they defeated TENSTAR in the grand final. As we can read in the statement of the British organization, the main reason for these changes is the failure to fulfill the ambition, which was the promotion to VCT 2022 EMEA Stage 2 Challengers.

After two losses in the VCT Promotion Tournament against Surreal Esports, EXCEL was eliminated from the tournament, a rather disappointing result for this team. As a result, ozzy and elllement were moved to the bench and are already looking for a new team and EXCEL also is looking for new signings for the upcoming season. The Valorant Regional League Northern Europe: Polaris is scheduled to begin in mid-May, so the European team has about 6 weeks to complete its roster.
