PatMen shatters all-time ACS record in loss to DFM
History was written on the server today during the VALORANT Champions Tour 2026 - Pacific Kickoff. In a middle bracket clash that initially looked like a complete washout, Global Esports’ latest signing, Patrick "PatMen" Mendoza, delivered a masterclass. While the series ultimately slipped away from GE, map one will be remembered for years to come as PatMen broke the world record for the highest Average Combat Score in a single map.
The record was made during the Global Esports vs. DetonatioN FocusMe match at VCT Pacific Kickoff.
The 516 ACS Masterclass
Playing on Breeze, PatMen looked untouchable. Playing Omen, one of the most aggressive controller agents in the game, he posted a staggering 516 ACS. This performance eclipses the previous record of 509 ACS set in 2025 by DetonatioN FocusMe’s Ibuki "Meiy" Seki on Icebox.
The irony was noticable, as PatMen broke the record against Meiy himself. While Meiy’s 2025 record relied on a higher kill count (39 kills), PatMen’s efficiency was unmatched. He finished the 13-3 stomp with a 32/5/4 KDA, an absurd 353.4 ADR, and a crisp 41% headshot rate. Perhaps most impressive was his consistency; he ended the map with a literally perfect 100% KAST rating, meaning he contributed a kill, assist, survival, or trade in every single round played.
Individual Brilliance, Collective Struggles
Despite the historical individual performance and the 13-3 opening victory, the series did not end in Global Esports' favor. DFM showed incredible mental resilience, managing a reverse sweep to take the series 2-1. While PatMen, and even the rest of the team, has looked fantastic individually in his last two games, GE’s macro play faltered as the series progressed.
On the deciding map, Split, the cohesion issues typical of a new roster became apparent. The team looked sloppy, dropping rounds that felt secured and failed to convert man advantages.
The Final Lifeline
Global Esports is not out of the Kickoff just yet. They drop to the Lower Bracket, where they await the winner of the Gen.G Esports vs. VARREL matchup. With a new coaching staff and roster for the 2026 season, growing pains are expected. However, the raw firepower is undeniable. If GE can harmonize their team play to match PatMen’s individual ceiling, they can become a new terrifying threat in the Pacific region.
