PCIFIC set new record for most consecutive losses in VCT history

The record for most losses in the VALORANT Champions Tour is probably not one you want to break, but that is how PCIFIC Esports will end their VALORANT Champions Tour 2026 - EMEA Stage 2 campaign after 15 consecutive losses in official matches.

Following their defeat to Joblife in Stage 2, PCIFIC have ended their season with the worst run in history, surpassing DetonatioN FocusMe's 2023 campaign.

PCIFIC's campaign ends in disappointment

Despite roster changes throughout the competitive season, PCIFIC was unable to find its footing in the VCT EMEA. In 2025, BBL Esports acquired the entire lineup that had won Ascension under the PCIFIC banner, leaving the organization with the task of building a brand-new roster for their VCT EMEA run.

Even with the signing of the VCT 2021 - VALORANT Champions 2021 winner, Mehmet Yağız "cNed" İpek, the team couldn't secure a single victory since January 2026. Now, at the end of their VCT EMEA: Stage 2 campaign, PCIFIC has broken the record for the most losses in VCT history in official matches.

The previous record was held by Japanese team DetonatioN FocusMe, who suffered 13 consecutive losses in 2023.

What happens to PCIFIC?

The loss to Joblife in the Lower Bracket ended PCIFIC's run and their hopes of qualifying for the Playoffs. The elimination also marked the end of their season, as their VCT Championship Points (0) make it mathematically impossible for them to qualify for VALORANT Champions 2026, set to take place in Shanghai, China.

It is still too early to know whether PCIFIC will return next year and try their luck in the region, especially with the VCT set to undergo significant changes to the circuit.
