Riot Games confirms Ascension team bundles arriving next month

Riot Games has officially confirmed that the Ascension team bundles will be available in the VALORANT in-game store starting early next month.

This announcement came from Jake Sin, VALORANT's Head of APAC, in response to BOOM Esports' inquiry, "boom bundle when."

Expected Contents of the Team Bundles

Each Ascension team bundle is expected to include the same exclusive in-game items that have been found in past bundles. This will allow fans to showcase their support for their favorite team both visually and financially. As a portion of the profits from each bundle will be shared with the respective team.

• Team-Themed Classic Skin: A Classic pistol skin adorned with the respective team's colors and logo. This skin will also feature an inspect animation, kill banner, and unique firing audio effects.
• Gun Buddy: A charm representing the team's emblem, attachable to any weapon.
• Player Card: A custom-designed card reflecting the team's identity and achievements.
• Spray: An in-game spray featuring the team's logo, usable during matches.

Teams Receiving the Bundles

The bundles will be available for teams that have earned promotion via the Ascension tournament. This includes:

• 2GAME Esports
• Apeks
• BOOM Esports
• XLG Esports

These teams have demonstrated exceptional performance, securing their spots in the international leagues and, consequently, their own in-game bundles.

Pricing and Availability

While the exact pricing for the Ascension team bundles has not been officially disclosed, this season’s VCT team capsules were priced at 2,320 VALORANT Points (VP). Therefore, it is reasonable to anticipate a similar price point for the upcoming bundles.

The bundles are expected to be accessible through the in-game Esports Store throughout the VCT season, providing fans ample opportunity to support their favorite teams.
