Riot Games Unveils the 2025 VCT Season Capsule

Riot Games has officially announced the VCT 2025 Season Capsule, an all-new way for VALORANT players to celebrate the competitive season while supporting their home regions and leagues. This year’s capsule introduces the largest number of esports collections ever, offering more customization and financial support for partnered teams in the VALORANT Champions Tour.

What’s Inside the 2025 Season Capsule?

The VCT 2025 Season Capsule brings exclusive in-game cosmetics designed to showcase regional pride and enhance the fan experience. Here’s what’s included:

• VCT Karambit – A sleek new melee weapon featuring five chromas, representing the four International Leagues and the core VCT theme. At Level 3, top fraggers will notice a special glow effect.
• 4 Regional Player Cards – Animated designs that highlight the identity of each International League.
• 4 Gun Buddies – Reactive charms that represent each region, which activate upon firing, adding a unique flair to every match.

Supporting Teams, Driving Growth

While Team Capsules allow fans to show support for individual teams, the Season Capsule is about representing entire regions and leagues. Riot Games has designed this collection to ensure that every team benefits financially, helping raise the baseline for all partnered organizations.

In 2024, esports cosmetics generated over $44 million USD for partnered teams. However, Riot noticed that some organizations benefited disproportionately—teams that won major global events or had large regional fan bases saw significantly higher sales. To address this, the Season Capsule will split proceeds across all teams, ensuring a more equitable distribution of financial support.

By introducing this new approach, Riot Games aims to provide multiple ways for fans to contribute to the VCT ecosystem while maintaining the excitement of exclusive in-game collectibles.

When Can You Get the 2025 Season Capsule?

The VCT 2025 Season Capsule will be available globally on February 6th at approximately 2 PM PST | 11pm CET in the VALORANT in-game store. It will remain on sale until the end of Masters Bangkok, giving players ample time to pick up the collection and support their favorite esports teams.
