Sentinels announce JonahP as roster changes continue
Not even 24 hours have passed since G2 Esports’s goodbye to Jonah "JonahP" Pulice, and Sentinels have already welcomed him to their new roster. After a rough showing at VALORANT Champions Tour 2026 - Americas Kickoff, the fan favorites are hoping to bounce back at VALORANT Champions Tour 2026 - Americas Stage 1 together with JonahP.
Goodbye G2, Hello Sentinels
It was only yesterday that JonahP officially left G2 after being on the bench since November 2025. In total, the support player remained with the organization for a little over two years, helping them win three domestic titles in a row. His sudden move to the bench came as a shock and Andrej "babybay" Francisty was called in as a substitute.
Since then, things have been quiet around JonahP. However, being released from his former organization seems to have reignited the support player’s competitive energy.
Sentinels struggle
Kickoff was a rough start to the year for Sentinels, as they lost all of their matches. Ahead of 2026, the organization rebuilt its roster, keeping only Marshall "N4RRATE" Massey and Mohamed Amine "Johnqt" Ouarid. After adding Mirel "Kyu" Braco Hrustemovic and Yassine "Reduxx" Aboulalazm from their Tier-2 team, Cubert Academy, and welcoming Gabriel Araujo "cortezia" Lobo Cortez from MIBR, Sentinels entered the new year with a fresh look.
However, those hopes were quickly crushed, and the organization immediately began making changes again after bombing out of Kickoff. Their first move was to bid farewell to Head Coach Adam "kaplan" Kaplan and bring in former Rex Regum Qeon coach Martin "Ewok" Ewok.
More moves rumoured for Sentinels
JonahP is now the second confirmed roster change ahead of Stage 1. Rumors have also been circulating about more players trialing for the team, but nothing has been confirmed so far. Sentinels still have a few weeks left to finalize their roster.
Having been on the bench for quite some time, JonahP is eager to return to the competitive scene. On X, he shared how excited he is to help bring Sentinels back to the top:
“It's hard to put into words the amount of excitement I have with my announcement of joining Sentinels. Since day one of meeting and practicing with this team, I knew I belonged here. Thank you to every single one of you who have had my back since the beginning. I saw every message, and you're the reason why I pushed myself and kept going.”
