Felipe "Less" Basso's stint with Team Vitality may be coming to an end. According to a report by THESPIKE Brazil, the organization has informed the player that he is allowed to negotiate with other teams before the start of the 2026 VCT season.

    Will Vitality start a rebuild?

The decision to let Less to explore the market during this transfer window comes at a time when Vitality is looking to rebuild its lineup and has not yet “made up its mind” about whether to keep the Brazilian player. The team's planning has been led by coach Gregor "PAL" Morton, from BBL Esports, who has a verbal agreement with Vitality, according to Sheep Esports.

On Less’s side, there is also uncertainty about remaining with the organization for 2026. While waiting for Vitality to settle on a lineup for the future, the Brazilian player is on the market and open to hearing offers from other teams.

It’s important to note that for a verbal agreement to exist between Less and another team, there must also be an agreement with Team Vitality, as the Brazilian is under contract with the French organization until the end of next year, according to the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) database. Despite being allowed to speak to other teams, there is still a chance Less might remain with Vitality in 2026.

After signing with Vitality in October of 2024, Less' journey with the team kicked off on a great note. After winning VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 - EMEA Kickoff to start the year, though, the team's form quickly started heading in the wrong direction. Following a 4th place finish at VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 - Masters Bangkok 2025, Vitality finished 7th–8th at both VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 - EMEA Stage 1 and VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 - EMEA Stage 2, ultimately missing out on VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 - Valorant Champions altogether. To correct course ahead of the new year, Team Vitality now appear ready to explore all possibilities.
