TenZ and ohnePixel to play in VALORANT Champions Shanghai showmatch

Team Omega and Team Alpha will clash once again, this time outside the VALORANT lore. On October 17, ahead of the VALORANT Champions Tour 2026 - Champions Shanghai Lower Bracket Final, several popular figures from the VALORANT community will take the stage for a showmatch. The event could also offer a first look at the new agent expected to join the game after the tournament.

Who is playing in the showmatch?

Two teams will face off in the showmatch. One will represent the host region, featuring popular Chinese content creators and players, while the other will bring together well-known personalities from the international VALORANT scene.

Team Alpha:

• Karry Wang (Leader of Chinese boy group TFBOYS and Captain of Team Alpha)
• Aijiang (streamer)
• Du "HangHang " Yu Hang
• Gus (streamer)
• Wang "whzy" Haozhe

Team Omega:

• Tyson "TenZ" Ngo (Former pro-player, content creator, and Captain of Team Omega)
• DABIN (DJ and music producer)
• ohnePixel (streamer/YouTuber)
• Athena (Member of South Korean girl group FIFTY FIFTY and T1 VALORANT ambassador)
• keshi (singer and songwriter)

Riot Games recently hosted an event where influencers and content creators got an early look at the upcoming agent ahead of her official reveal. This has fueled speculation that both teams could get a chance to test her during the showmatch.

So far, little is known about the new agent, aside from her white hair and fierce appearance. She first made a brief appearance at the end of a major developer video released in September.

Showmatch schedule

The showmatch is happening before the Lower Bracket Final on October 17 at 11 PM PDT / 8 a.m. CEST.

Fans can catch all the action on Riot Games’ official Twitch and YouTube channels, as well as through authorized content creators and streamers.
