TSM have parted ways with their roster after failing to qualify for Ascension. Corey "corey" Nigra, Nicholas "NaturE" Garrison, Anthony "gMd" Guimond, Johann "seven" Hernandez, and Eric "Kanpeki" Xu are now free agents and looking for their next stop. On the other hand, TSM have also indicated that they will be back with a different roster in the upcoming months “once the Ascension season resumes.”

The 2023 season ended early for TSM

The season started with an “acceptable” result as the organization finished VCT 2023 Challengers North America Split 1 in fourth place. After an unsuccessful performance at Mid-Season Face off, TSM’s journey continued with the second split of the season, where they only picked up two wins and saw three losses.

TSM had a disastrous playoff performance, as they got eliminated pretty quickly. First, Moist Moguls took them down without dropping a map, and TSM had to continue their grind from the lower bracket. However, the grind didn’t last too long as FaZe Clan won the first round competition in three maps, 2-1, to push TSM out of the Ascension race.

All the players will begin looking for new homes for the upcoming tournaments and seasons. Kanpeki is one of the best-performing players on the roster, with a rating of 1.19. He is followed by corey who holds a 1.16 rating.

Besides, TSM have also said that they will be back in the upcoming months, probably with a different lineup. TSM are the second NA team to disband their roster today, right after G2 Esports’s announcement.

Here is TSM’s disbanded roster:

United States Corey "corey" Nigra United States Nicholas "NaturE" Garrison Canada Anthony "gMd" Guimond Mexico Johann "seven" Hernandez United States Eric "Kanpeki" Xu
