TYLOO adds splash to active roster
After a disappointing run in the VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 - China Stage 2 playoffs and missing out on a ticket to VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 - Valorant Champions, TYLOO has made their first offseason move by signing Moses "Splash" Christophe Jonathan. The Indonesian player will be leaving the Southeast Asian circuit to join the tier-one Chinese team.
Previous career
splash began his professional VALORANT career in 2023, playing for NEXGA and IGNITE. In December 2024, he joined RRQ Academy. Even though the academy team failed to find success in VCL 2025 - Southeast Asia: Split 1, splash stood out individually, showcasing strong mechanics and potential for higher-tier play.
In March 2025, splash left RRQ to focus on his studies. On X, he revealed that he’s been studying Chinese, which will help him in his journey joining TYLOO.
In need of a Duelist player
Throughout the group stage in Stage 2, TYLOO was missing a prominent Duelist player. The team rotated the role between Sun "slowly" Kelun, Ding "Ninebody" Yi, and Zhang "Scales" Zhen, without success. splash, known for his aggressive Duelist play and occasional Tejo picks, brings much-needed role clarity to the squad. His addition to the roster will open up more opportunities for a comp with a steady Duelist.
Adding splash makes the active roster six players. He also joins just days before TYLOO participates in the VALORANT China Evolution Series - Series Act 3.
TYLOO’s current roster
- Sun "slowly" Kelun
- Li "sword9" Wei
- Ding "Ninebody" Yi
- Zhang "Scales" Zhen
- Hsu "Yoyo" Yuh-siang
- Moses "Splash" Christophe Jonathan
- Xu "waituu" Yinze (sub)
Performance in Stage 2
TYLOO ended Stage 2 with a 3-2 record in Group Alpha, securing third place and a spot in the playoffs. While they managed to take down All Gamers, the team fell short against Bilibili Gaming and EDward Gaming, ending their playoff run early.
The organization has cycled through multiple roster changes since 2024 and is now looking to stabilize ahead of the 2026 season. With splash onboard, TYLOO hopes to return to form and become a top contender in China.
