VALORANT fans from South Asia have finally received more clarity on their VALORANT Challengers League circuit. NODWIN Gaming has entered into a two-year strategic partnership with Riot Games to implement the circuit in the region. VCL SA is set to run from January to July of every year, with the inaugural edition set to start early March. Along with the announcement of the partnership, VCL SA is set to have the biggest prizepool in the VCL circuit, boasting a mammoth purse of 140K USD, which roughly translates to over 1.15 crores INR. The winner of the VCL SA circuit will qualify for Ascension in APAC that will see top teams from all ten sub-regions battle it out to emerge victorious and earn a spot in the coveted Pacific VCT International League for the next two years.

NODWIN to be the organizer of VALORANT Challengers South Asia

South Asia as a region was mired with uncertainty, with no real announcements regarding their Challengers League. Meanwhile other Leagues in the APAC region have already commenced. The fans will hope this announcement is the first of many that will not only equip them with more information but also create the hype necessary to get them involved. The return of NODWIN Gaming into the VALORANT scene has been rumored for over a month now, with a lot of reports circulating regarding the VCL SA circuit format and even a potential buy-in for teams. However, no such revelation has been made as of yet. Hopefully, the upcoming days will provide more clarity on the format, invited teams, potential qualifiers, and prizepool distribution.

As of late, the South Asian region has been in the news for all the right reasons. From Global Esports becoming one of the partnered VALORANT teams in the Pacific region to organizations like Gods Reign, Velocity Gaming, Revenant Esports, Orangutan and others all either signing or being linked with high-profile players from outside the region. South Asia as a region looks all set to embrace the VALORANT fever even more vibrantly during VCT 2023.
