VALORANT Champions 2026: "Frag or Die" Bundle Details and Features

Riot Games has officially unveiled the VALORANT Champions 2026 "Frag or Die" skin bundle, the cosmetic collection that is going to go alongside VALORANT Champions Tour 2026 - Champions Shanghai. Synchronized with the release of this year’s official anthem, "If the Sun Burns Out Tonight," the bundle is designed to capture the prestige of the world championship.

The collection is anchored by the Phantom and a Melee Fan alongside the expected inclusion of the customary Champions Player Card.

The Dynamic Side-Swap Mechanic

For the first time, Riot has initiated a dynamic “side-swap” effect to the bundle. The transformation alters the weapon’s appearance based on the player's active side in the match.

• Defender Side: The Phantom and Melee adopt a pearl white base accented with signature Champions cream gold. This variant is accompanied by a gold Champions aura and a specific Gun Buddy featuring a white dragon.
• Attacker Side: The assets shift to a bold onyx black with gold trimmings. This version utilizes a red Champions aura and transforms the Gun Buddy into a black snake.

Visual Effects and Finishers

Like all Champions bundles of the past, this one also has a Champions Aura, serving as a top-frag visual indicator that glows only when the equipper leads the match scoreboard.

Based on the short 1-minute reveal trailer, the finisher animation features the Champions trophy, with agents Sage and Viper on either side with their respective animal counterparts.

Alongside the color-shifting HUD, the finisher animation inverts its visual palette depending on whether the white or black version of the Phantom is currently equipped. While fans are speculating on additional features, it is important to note that the inclusion of a "Flex" emote remains unconfirmed by Riot Games at this time.

Pricing and VCT Partner Support

While Riot has not yet finalized the sticker price, the "Frag or Die" bundle is estimated to cost approximately 6,100 VP (~$65 USD).

Beyond the aesthetic appeal, the bundle is a pillar of the professional economic ecosystem; a portion of all proceeds from the bundle is distributed directly to VCT partner teams, allowing fans to provide direct financial support to their favourite organisations.

The VALORANT Champions 2026 bundle is reported to hit the in-game store between September 22nd and 23rd, 2026. The specific availability will depend on regional server update windows and local time zones.
