VALORANT Closed Beta finally open to South Korea, LatAm and Brazil
In the last progress update, Anna “SuperCakes” Donlon announced that VALORANT servers would finally be up and running in three new regions, those being South Korea, greater Latin America, and most of Brazil. On May 5th, servers were finally brought up for those regions. This is huge news for not only the players but also the dev team, as we will finally see what they are capable of handling when it comes to an already massive game.
As new players enter the arena, we will see how other regions approach the game. The way players from Latin America and South Korea use each Agent can only shake up the meta. In a game where the community is just beginning to understand the small intricacies of design, the play style of South Korea and Latin America is sure to provide some truly jaw dropping moments.
One player that will now have access to the closed beta will be Vinícius “Noted" Mancinni. He was a professional player in Apex Legends and Rainbow Six Siege before announcing that he would be grinding to become a Pro player in VALORANT. He caused quite the controversy after writing “VALORANT Pro” in his Twitter bio before the closed beta was even out. With a lot of high expectations for him going into the game, all we can do is wait to see if he will meet up to those expectations.
