VALORANT Patch Notes 10.02: Bug fixes to Vyse, Tejo, Killjoy, and more
Patch 10.02 of VALORANT is going live, and it is bringing with it wave of bug fixes aimed at improving consistency across the board. As the latest update to the game, patch 10.02 will fix a set of agent bugs, observers bugs, as well as several quality of life changes to Premier Mode on PC.
With the VCT Kickoff tournaments still underway, and VCT 2025 - Masters Bangkok 2025 fast approaching, it remains unlikely that a patch with large in-game changes will hit VALORANT until all is said and done in Bangkok, so as not to change things up too much at the last minute with such an important trophy on the line.
Patch Notes 10.02
General
- Fixed a critical issue where certain types of damage could leave players with Regen Shields at 1 HP instead of killing them.
- This also resolves an issue where Clove could survive lethal damage when Regen Shield and Pick Me Up were active at the same time.
Agents

Vyse
- Fixed a visual bug where Arc Rose and Razorvine would remain visible when placed on specific water surfaces.
Tejo
- Fixed an issue where players could survive by running straight through the full duration of Armageddon when it would otherwise score a kill.
Killjoy
- Fixed a bug where Killjoy’s recall minimap indicator could become invisible under certain scenarios.
- Alarmbot logic has been updated to improve pathing: In specific situations, the Alarmbot will now path towards players who are on ledges and explode on them, rather than run long paths around the map.
Gameplay Systems
- Fixed a bug where Observers were seeing inconsistent player team outline colors.
Premier Mode (PC Only)
- Fixed an issue that caused long names to overlap each other on the playoff bracket screen.
- Fixed an issue where dropdown menus on the standings would sometimes cut off text.
- Fixed an issue where the division name text was not always properly aligned on the match history screen.

The latest update to the game, Patch 10.02, is arriving to VALORANT on February 4. As with all patches, this update will be released in a staggered rollout, meaning players might see it go live at different times based on their region and location.
