VCT Champions 2024 to be held in Seoul, South Korea

With the start of the VCT Kickoff events, Riot Games has finally confirmed the host city of VCT Champions 2024. The event will be heading to Seoul, South Korea, the current hub city of VCT Pacific, where the current Pacific Kickoff event has just started. The announcement sees VALORANT Champions venture to the Pacific region for the first time since VALORANT's inception in 2020.

Champions 2024 heads to Korea

VALORANT Champions 2024 will be held from August 1 to 25 this year, with 16 teams present at the event. Teams will qualify throughout the year by accumulating enough Championship Points or by being a top 3 team in the second stage of VCT International Leagues, which will run through June 15 - July 21.

Despite the official announcement, Riot has not named a specific venue for the event at the time of writing this piece.

With this announcement, all events for the VCT 2024 season have been announced and all dates have been confirmed. The VCT 2024 season dates are as follows:

  • Kickoff events: February 13 - March 3
  • Masters Madrid: March 14 - 24
  • International Leagues Stage 1: March 30 - May 12
  • Masters Shanghai: May 23 - June 8
  • International Leagues Stage 2: June 15 - July 21
  • Champions Seoul: August 1 - 25

After 3 months, he got promoted to a Managing Editor, managing a team of contributors and held regular brainstorming meetings to get content pumping for 3 years straight. In that time he attended Masters Berlin 2021, as well as VALORANT Champions 2022 as press on-site press.
