Top-flight VALORANT is set to return to one of the most competitive regions in the world when the VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 - EMEA Stage 2 kicks off on Wednesday, July 16. With VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 - Valorant Champions looming on the horizon, Stage 2 will do more than crown the final EMEA champions of the year, it will decide which four teams will represent the region on home soil at the biggest VALORANT tournament of the year.

Format

Like past stages, Stage 2 in EMEA will be split into two phases: the Group Stage and the Playoffs. Here's what each of these will look like:

Group Stage

• Two groups of six teams
• Single round-robin
• All matches are Bo3
• Top four teams from each group advance to the Playoffs
  • First-place teams from each group earn a bye into the Upper Bracket Semifinals
  • Second and third-place teams advance to Upper Bracket Round 1
  • Fourth-place teams start in the Lower Bracket
• Bottom two teams from each group say goodbye to the season

Playoffs

• Double-elimination bracket
• All matches (except the Lower Bracket Finals & Grand Finals) are Bo3
• Lower Bracket Finals & Grand Finals are Bo5
• Top two teams qualify for VALORANT Champions 2025 (unless already qualified through Championship Points)

New Map Pool: Corrode Makes its Debut

New stage, new map pool. VALORANT's newest map addition, Corrode, will enter the pool for the VCT EMEA Stage 2, marking its competitive deubt.

The complete Stage 2 map pool will include: Corrode, Lotus, Icebox, Haven, Bind, Ascent, and Fracture.

Groups and Teams

All VCT EMEA Stage 2 teams will be split into two groups: Group Alpha and Group Omega.

Schedule and Key Dates

As the season's most important tournament in the region, you won't want to miss any of the high-stakes action coming our way. To follow the tournament, here's a detailed look at the VCT 2025 EMEA Stage 2 schedule:

• Stage 2 kicks off on Wednesday, July 16
• Runs for 5 consecutive weeks (no breaks)
• Group Stage matches every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
• Two matches per day
• Matches start at 5 pm and 8 pm CET, respectively
• Playoffs start August 21
• Grand Finals take place on Sunday, August 31

Tickets for the following weeks will release each subsequent Wednesday at 6 pm CET.
