With VCT 2024 - Masters Madrid right around the corner, the VCT EMEA regular season is set to launch right after the end of the first VALORANT Masters event of 2024.

Following Kickoff events in all 4 VALORANT regions, Masters Madrid will see 8 of the best teams combined from each of the Kickoff events. Right after Masters Madrid, teams will return for Stage 1 of their respective leagues. For EMEA, that will be in Berlin, Germany.

Here are all the details you need about Stage 1 and Stage 2 of VCT EMEA 2024 regular season.

    VCT EMEA Stage 1

The VCT EMEA Stage 1 will see teams battle for spots in the second and last Masters event of the year, Masters Shanghai. Both stages will see teams sorted into two groups, Alpha and Omega.

    Groups

The groups have already been drawn for Stage 1. Group Alpha features 5 teams, while Group Omega will have 6 teams battle it out.

    Dates and format

The event runs from April 3 to May 12. The stage features a "cross-group play" where teams from Alpha will face teams from the Omega group in best-of-three matchups. Then, the best three teams from each group will advance to the playoffs, where a "modified double-elimination bracket" awaits. The playoffs of VCT EMEA will take place from May 8 to May 12.

While a total of three teams will qualify for Masters Shanghai, the third seed team will emerge by winning a "third-place decider" match. These two teams are the ones that have lost the second-round of the playoffs.

    VCT EMEA Stage 2

VCT EMEA will see teams battle for the most important VALORANT event of the year; Champions Seoul.

    Groups and format

The groups for Stage 2 are not currently announced but the format remains similar to VCT EMEA Stage 1 with one difference. Instead of the aforementioned cross-play between groups, teams in the Alpha and Omega groups will instead face teams in the same group.

Playoffs qualification in Stage 2 is determined by performance in both Stage 1 and Stage 2. Playoffs will see top 6 teams make the playoffs after the Stage 2 group stage matches conclude.

With 4 places up-for-grabs, top 3 teams from the playoffs will make their trip to Champions Seoul. However, the fourth team will be selected based on overall performance through the 2024 VCT season. This will be based off of accumulated Championship points throughout the season. Make sure to have a read on the newly-introduced Championship points system.

    VCT EMEA Stage 1 tickets

Tickets for the VCT EMEA Stage 1 go on sale at 6pm CET on Wednesday, March 13. The event will be held at the Riot Games Arena in Berlin, Germany.
