Velocity Gaming have announced their new roster going into the VCT 2023 season. The European players Adam "ec1s" Eccles and Domagoj "Doma" Fancev have also joined the organization, traveling overseas for the upcoming season.

Considering previous results, Velocity Gaming are one of the most successful teams in India. In 2022, they took down Global Esports in the VALORANT Conquerors Championship 2022: Stage 1 Grand Final and represented the country regionally. However, Velocity failed to make it out of the groups at VCT 2022: APAC Stage 1 Challengers.

Velocity Gaming keep the majority

The majority of the roster has remained apart from Saksham “Deadly10” Aurangabadkar, who was benched ahead of the start to the season. However, the rest of the roster remains the same and will continue competing for the organization. On top of the existing four players, ec1s and Doma will fill in the blanks and complete the roster. The duo will be moving overseas from Europe to India as they will be Velocity Gaming's imports.

ec1s played for major teams like 100 Thieves and Ninjas in Pyjamas. The British player currently holds a 1.08 rating, and his most picked agent in the previous year was Omen. Meanwhile, Doma made his name known under the Fnatic banner. The experienced player has international experience and holds a 1.12 rating.

Looking at the Indian core, DEATHMAKER is the leader of the squad with a 1.30 rating and a 1.41 K/D. He played a huge role in Velocity Gaming’s success last year, contributing with agents like Jett and Chamber. excali is his biggest helper, with a 1.14 rating and a 1.19 K/D. The Indiana player played Raze and KAY/O for most of the 2022 season.

Velocity Gaming’s roster for the upcoming VALORANT season is as follows:

India Anuj "Amaterasu" Sharma India Karan "excali" Mhaswadkar India Sagnik "hellff" Roy India Debanjan "DEATHMAKER" Das United Kingdom Adam "ec1s" Eccles Croatia (Hrvatska) Domagoj "Doma" Fancev
