The first international LAN of the VCT 2026 season has delivered not just breathtaking matches but also a rich dataset of tactical choices that reveal how the global meta has taken shape since Kickoff. With 59 maps played across the tournament, the pick rate numbers and composition win rates at VALORANT Champions Tour 2026 - Masters Santiago 2026 paint a clear picture of which agents and lineups the world's best teams are willing to bet on under the brightest lights.

Yoru and Viper Dominate the Meta

At Masters Santiago, Yoru and Viper shared the throne at an identical 48.03% pick rate, making them the two most selected agents at the event. This is a direct reflection of the trend established at Kickoff, where both agents featured in the top three across all four regional leagues. The narrative has just been hardened by international competition.

What is notable, however, is the performance gap between them. Yoru led in nearly every impact metric: a 1.04 average rating, 213.9 ACS, 138 ADR, and a 1.07 K/D ratio, the strongest individual numbers among all top-picked agents.

Viper, by contrast, posted a 0.97 rating and a 1.03 K/D, numbers more reflective of her utility-centric role as a site anchor. Yoru's dual identity as a deceiver and a fragger is proving to be very effective at the international level.

Omen rounded out the top three at a 43.42% pick rate, continuing his role as the backbone of double-Controller setups. At Kickoff, Omen appeared in the top three agents in Pacific (43.75%), EMEA, and China (44.79%), and Santiago confirms his importance has not faded as the season goes on.

    The Supporting Cast

Sova (38.82%) and Neon (34.87%) round out the top five at Masters Santiago. Sova's presence is no surprise, as EMEA teams leaned heavily on him at Kickoff, and they carried that preference onto the international stage. His 0.89 rating and 0.94 K/D show he is filling a support role, with players preferring his kit over other initiators like Fade and Breach.

Neon's 34.87% pick rate reflects her value in aggressive, fast-paced setups. Her lower headshot percentage of 22% (compared to the 27–28% posted by most other top agents) suggests teams are using her for her speed and site entry ability, not for winning aim duels.

Team Compositions: Who Is Actually Winning?

The composition data reveals a fascinating divergence between popularity and effectiveness at Masters Santiago. The most-played lineups — Omen-Viper-Sova-Killjoy-Neon and Raze-Omen-Viper-Yoru-Fade — were each run across 7 maps (4.61% pick rate each). Yet their outcomes could not be more different.

The Killjoy-Neon variant managed only a 42.86% win rate, while the Raze variant posted a strong 71.43% win rate. Notably, the Raze-Omen-Viper-Yoru-Fade setup was Pacific's signature composition at Kickoff, played a staggering 17 times in regional play with a 58.82% win rate, and it has actually improved its win rate at the international stage, suggesting that the mastery of this lineup is translating globally.

The composition with the highest win rate at Masters Santiago was Omen-Viper-Yoru-Neon-Fade at 83.33% across 6 maps. Ironically, this same lineup was China's secondary composition at Kickoff, where it posted a dismal 30.00% win rate. The dramatic turnaround suggests that while the agents remain the same, the level of execution at the Masters level combined with more favorable maps has unlocked this composition's true ceiling.

Waylay and Vyse In The Mix

One of the more intriguing team comps is the Omen-Viper-Fade-Vyse-Waylay comp, which was run 5 times at a 60% win rate. At Kickoff, Americas was the main region giving Waylay a fair shot in the big leagues, debuting with a 42.71% pick rate and being a core element in multiple American compositions.

Her survival into the international meta alongside Vyse, who is another relatively recent addition, together in the same lineup shows that some teams are willing to experiment with newer agents at the highest level. A 60% win rate across five maps is a solid enough return to justify running it again in future events.

Similarly, the Omen-Viper-Sova-Jett-Yoru composition (5 plays) delivered an impressive 80% win rate. Jett's reemergence in high-win-rate compositions at an international event is worth tracking. She may be due for a broader re-adoption as the season matures.

    From Santiago to Stage 1

Masters Santiago has confirmed that the global VALORANT meta in 2026 is remarkably consolidated at the agent level, with Yoru, Viper, and Omen functioning as the near-universal core. What differentiates winners from losers is not whether they pick these agents, but how they build around them. The Omen-Viper-Yoru-Neon-Fade lineup's leap from a 30% Kickoff disaster in China to an 83.33% juggernaut at the international stage is the clearest proof that execution and map selection are the true meta-definers at the top level of play.
