FURIA have announced the departure of long-standing member Alexandre "xand" Zizi.

The Brazilian joined FURIA from B4 Esports back in January 2021 alongside a host of top talents as the organization dipped their toes into VALORANT for the first time. The team quickly established themselves as among the best in the country, qualifying for and placing 3rd-4th at VCT 2021 - Stage 1 - Brazil Masters. FURIA kept up their good form regionally but international Masters events eluded them, third places at VCT 2021 - Stage 2 - Brazil - Challengers Finals and VCT 2021 - Stage 3 - Brazil - Challengers Playoffs meaning xand could not show himself on the global stage. They finally got their break towards the end of the year, claiming the VCT 2021 - South America Last Chance Qualifier title and qualifying for VCT 2021 - VALORANT Champions 2021, but failed to get a single win there and dropped out in 13th-16th place.

xand has primarily played Jett throughout his VALORANT career and boasts an impressive 1.10 rating and 235 ACS over the last three months. On the international stage at Champions, he was the team’s best performer with a 1.04 rating and 231 ACS. The Brazilian has clearly proven himself as a capable duelist at the highest level of the esport and it will be interesting to see where he takes his trade next.

With the move, FURIA are now:

Brazil Gabriel "qck" Bertoni Brazil Khalil "khalil" Schmidt Argentina Agustin "Nozwerr" Ibarra Brazil Matheus "mazin" Araújo
