Yoru and Iso receive buffs in VALORANT Patch 13.01

VALORANT Patch 13.01 will give Yoru and Iso a boost to their power levels, as both agents have fallen behind other Duelists lately. But that is not all, as the Outlaw will also be adjusted to allow for more expression and control.

There will not only be gameplay changes, however, as a new rank manipulation detection system is being implemented in the game, and it will begin issuing penalties to confirmed users.

Yoru and Iso are back in business

Yoru and Iso have been out of the Duelist meta for a while, as they have struggled lately compared to agents like Neon, Jett, Phoenix, and Raze. To help them, Riot has decided to add the following buffs:

• Iso
  • Double Tap:
    • The speed of equipping your weapon after unequipping Double Tap is now instant.
• Yoru
  • Gatecrash:
    • Active Beacon duration increased from 15 seconds to 20 seconds.
  • Fakeout:
    • To further support his deception fantasy, clones from Fakeout will now hold Yoru's last equipped weapon instead of defaulting to his strongest weapon.

Outlaw adjustments

The Outlaw has been performing very well lately, and now Riot has decided to change it a bit to allow for more expression and control.

• Outlaw
  • Recovery changed from 0.1 to 0.15 after the first shot.
  • Spread changed from 0 to 2.25 after the first shot.
  • Recoil changed from 0 to 4.0 after the first shot.

New player behavior detection system

Riot is rolling out new tools to detect rank manipulation in VALORANT, building on the same system introduced in League of Legends last year. The penalties may include account suspensions, rank reversions, and ranked reward reversions.

Riot x Discord implementation is finally coming to VALORANT

Added to League of Legends a few weeks ago, Discord integration is finally coming to VALORANT as well. With this new feature, you can link your account to unlock new social features such as:

• Inviting friends in Discord straight to your party from within VALORANT, with no need to alt tab.
• Copying a lobby link and sharing it directly in your server or anywhere your friends are.
• Seeing which of your Discord friends play VALORANT and join parties faster.
