Not just any old A-tier weapon in the gun meta, the FR Avancer is pretty easily one of the best guns in Warzone fullstop (and in Modern Warfare’s multiplayer, too, now that’cha mention it!).

Since hitting the scene in August 2023, this fierce little fully auto firearm with its rapid rate of fire and swift mobility has leapt to the top of plenty of players’ gun choices, especially as a rock-solid sniper support weapon. But, as with every gun you can think of, you’ll still need to kit the FR Avancer out with a top-notch loadout if you want to maximize the melting mayhem this assault rifle can dish out.

How do you unlock the FR Avancer?

Pop 35 headshot kills with assault rifles and you’ll unlock the fearsome FR Avancer for your very own. That, or you could extract from the DMZ mode with it. Either method will add the FR Avancer to your arsenal.

What is the best FR Avancer loadout in Warzone?

This loadout is all about reinforcing the FR Avancer to make it the best long-range support assault rifle it can be.

The 435mm FR435 barrel works wonders at improving the rifle’s recoil control and bullet velocity, and goes super well with the FTAC Ripper underbarrel to further enhance aiming stability and make those long-range shots easier to pop off. Between these two attachments, you’ve got yourself a loadout that turns the FR Avancer into one crazy stable headshot machine.

Combo both of those with the Harbinger D20 muzzle in your FR Avancer loadout and you’ll crank up the rifle’s damage range, while also boosting the bullet velocity and smoothing out the recoil even further. It’s mostly the damage boost we want here though.

Yes, this muzzle choice comes with the hefty price of sacrificing ADS and walking speed, as well as aiming stability, but we’re going to counter that with the RMT rear grip. This grip gives the Avancer way better sprint-to-fire and ADS speeds, which you’ll definitely be thankful for next time you’re Rocking around Al Mazrah.

While the 45 Round Mag should be sufficient, if you’re not blessed with godly accuracy, try switching it out for the 60 Round Mag instead. That way, you’ll rarely find yourself wanting for more ammo at the worst possible time.

Perks and equipment

With a build like this for your FR Avancer, you shouldn’t need Overkill, since we’ve fine-tuned this assault rifle to be one hella deadly monster. That’s why we’ve swapped out our typical first perk choice for Bomb Squad, for that extra protection layer. Of course, if you feel you still need some extra long-range kick, go for Overkill and kit yourself out with a sniper.

Double Time suits the Avancer’s aggressive playstyle perfectly, and Fast Hands will nicely compensate for the gun’s not-so-stellar reload speed.

It’s pretty much always hard to argue against Ghost as a top-notch perk choice for any weapon loadout, and it’s no different with this FR Avancer build. Unless you like showing up on enemy radars?
