Unlike weekly content, these cards are rare, highly rated, and announce the elite performers of the year based on:
- Real-world performance (league, European and international competitions)
- Goals, assists, defensive impact, trophies won
- Community support and popularity
These finished cards usually shape the competitive landscape of FC 26 for several weeks.
TOTY voting dates & schedule
The TOTY voting period for EA SPORTS FC 26 typically follows a set early-January schedule.
- Voting Opens: January 7, 2026 (around 18:00 UK time)
- Voting Closes: January 12–14, 2026 (varies by source)
- TOTY Cards Release: Expected mid-January 2026 in stages (attackers first, then midfielders, defenders, etc.)
During this window, you can vote for both the Men’s and Women’s Team of the Year. Once voting ends, the final squads will be announced and the cards begin to appear in packs and Squad Building Challenges (SBCs)

How to vote for EA FC 26 TOTY nominees
Voting is done online through EA’s official TOTY voting page during the voting window.

- You can vote for both teams separately. Each has its own list of EA FC 26 TOTY nominees.
- You will see a football pitch layout. You must fill every position before submitting. Fill each position by selecting players from the nominee list:
- 1 goalkeeper
- 4 defenders
- 3 midfielders
- 3 attackers
- Choose your captain.
- Accept the terms and submit your vote. Once confirmed, your vote is counted.

TOTY is meant to reward real-world football, not just in-game popularity. Consider trophies won, consistency, and big moments.
