Lillia is the embodiment of all of the dreams of the Ionians in League of Legends, and her kit revolves around the dream aspect of the game, something that has never really been touched before, unless you count Nocturne as the nightmare demon.

When Lillia was first introduced a lot of players did not like her kit at all, but when was that, and what is her kit? Well, we have all of that here in this article so you can learn more about the Dream Fawn and make your mind up about her kit yourself!

Lillia’s abilities in League of Legends

    Passive: Dream-Laden Bough

    Lillia's Passive
    Lillia's Passive

Lillia’s abilities apply a stack of Dream Dust to any enemies she hits, which deals maximum hp damage and scaling ap damage over 3 seconds - think a Liandry’s Anguish, but built into her kit.

She also heals against large monsters during thris duration, although this only works against one monster at a time, but this still makes her jungle clear very healthy.

    Q: Blooming Blows

    Lillia Q
    Lillia Q

The passive of Lillia’s Q means that whenever her abilities hit an enemy, she gains a stack of Prance for 6.5 seconds, which can stack on multiple enemies, refresh for every new enemy hit, and stack up to four times.

This gives her bonus movement speed of up to 7% at max rank, and an additional 3% for every 100 AP she has too. If she stacks this up to 4 stacks, and has 400 AP, she can have an additional 40% movement speed at some point!

The active has the Dream Fawn swing her weapon, her censer, around in a circle hitting enemies and dealing magic damage. Enemies hit with the outer part of the censer take the same amount of damage as bonus true damage as well.

    W: Watch Out! Eep!

    Lillia W
    Lillia W

With one of the weirdest ability names in League of Legends, Lillia’s W has her dash a small distance to the target location in just under a second, dealing AOE magic damage, with the center of her landing dealing 200% increased damage to enemies.

This does not go through terrain, and the leap only goes 150 units, which if you don’t know, is not very far.

    E: Swirlseed

    Lillia E

Lillia throws a seed at a location of her choosing, which rolls forward forever in theory. The seed will explode when it hits an enemy or terrain, dealing AOE magic damage in a cone in front of the target it explodes on.

This then slows any targets hit by 40% for 3 seconds and reveals them for 2 seconds. In theory you could throw this down mid lane from your inhibitor tower, and unless it hits an enemy minion or champion, it would keep going until it hits the enemy inhibitor tower.

    R: Lilting Lullaby

    Lillia R
    Lillia R

Lillia will embrace her dream aspect and cast a magical lullaby on all enemy champions who are currently afflicted with her passive, making them drowsy for 1.5s and additionally slowing them by 10%. They will then fall asleep for up to 2.5s at max rank.

To follow up on this, the next piece of champion or tower damage to hit each target will deal additional magic damage, up to 200 and 40% of Lillia’s AP, but it will also wake them up.

We recommend combining this with Lillia’s W, or the outer part of her Q.

When was Lillia released in League of Legends?

    Shan Hai Scrolls Lillia

Lillia was released in Patch 10.15, a few months before the World Championships of Season 10. This was on the 22 of July, 2020.

Her release skin was Spirit Blossom Lillia, and this patch was actually the last time we saw Nexus Blitz before its release during the 2023 World Championships.

Where is Lillia from in League of Legends?

Whilst her species is a Fae Fawn, Lillia originates from the Garden of Forgetting, which is in Navori, in Ionia. Yes, this is the place that the Navori Quickblades item is named after too!

An interesting relation is that Ivern is technically her Grandfather, as her mother is The Dreaming Tree, which was ultimately created by Ivern himself.

Lillia’s Age in League of Legends

    Duskbringer Lillia
    Duskbringer Lillia

Lillia’s age is pretty much unknown, and whilst we do have a very broad estimate that we can go by, this doesn’t really narrow it down much. We think she was born between 3 Bn and 896 AN, which would place her at around 101 to 1001 years old.

We did say this doesn’t really narrow it down, but who knows, maybe Riot Games will feed us some more lore with the next Ionian champion!

Lillia’s Voice Actor in League of Legends

    Lillia Voice Actor
    Lillia Voice Actor

Lillia’s voice actress is Holly Earl, a scottish voice actress. The reason Lillia has a scottish accent, and the reason Holly Earl was chosen to represent Lillia, is because the champion drew significant influence from the faerie myths of the British Isles.

Why is Lillia hard to play?

Lillia is not easy to play because her abilities need good timing and movement. Her passive deals damage over time, but you must keep hitting enemies to get value from it. She needs to move fast to stay alive, and if she slows down, she becomes an easy target. Her early game is weak. She struggles against jungle invades and cannot win fights early.

Her main crowd control, Lilting Lullaby, comes at level 6. This means early ganks are hard to pull off. Her abilities also have odd hitboxes and curved ranges, so landing them takes practice. To play her well, you need to learn how to kite, move smart, and take good jungle paths.

What is Yone and Lillia's relationship?

Yone and Lillia know each other from the Spirit Blossom event in League of Legends. They share some voice lines in-game. Yone speaks kindly to Lillia and calls her a “good spirit.” This shows that he respects her and wants to protect her.

Well, their connection feels like a calm friendship. It is similar to the way Yasuo watches over Taliyah.

    What accent does Lillia have?

Lillia has a soft Scottish accent. Her voice actress is Holly Earl, who is from Scotland. This accent fits Lillia’s theme well because her story is about nature, magic, and dreams.

Lillia is an awesome champion with a couple of truly unique mechanics, but if she is not for you, we have a load of other champion guides here for you to read through and find your perfect main, and below are just a few to get you started!
